Widely followed XRP community influencer BarriC has reiterated his long-term outlook for XRP, dismissing concerns about price stagnation.
According to the pundit, he did not invest in XRP during its early days, when it traded at $0.10, only to be shaken out of the market now due to short-term fluctuations around $2. “I didn’t buy XRP at $0.10 to be shaken out at $2,” he said.
Notably, XRP has remained stagnant around the $2 mark for over three months. A major shakeout occurred in April when the price dropped to $1.61. It recovered afterward despite prominent predictions of a dip below $1.
However, the asset has continued to trade below $2.30. This performance has frustrated investors who were hoping for XRP to build on its late 2024 momentum and break its all-time high.
Amid this anxiety, community voices like BarriC are encouraging investors to view the current price as a temporary opportunity to accumulate XRP while it is still relatively cheap.
Aiming to Profit from XRP at $50, $100, and $1,000
BarriC stated that he bought XRP at $0.10 with the intention of taking profit at strategic price levels such as $2, $5, and $10, not to sell early due to “perceived underperformance.”
He added that he is holding his position in XRP to take further profits at much higher levels, including $20, $50, and even $100. To put things into perspective, a $1,000 investment in XRP at $0.10 would be worth $1 million if the token reaches $100.
Essentially, BarriC emphasized his commitment to remaining an XRP investor and weathering the storm in hopes of achieving this potential financial success. He stressed that his plan is to hold XRP until a future where it could be worth $1,000 per coin.
As a result, he remains unconcerned by XRP’s current price performance and continues to encourage other XRP investors to adopt a similar long-term perspective.
When Can XRP Reach $500 or $1,000?
BarriC has repeatedly claimed that in the coming years, even a $500 price, which many currently view as unrealistic, will be a bargain. He expects this to happen by 2033, just seven years from now.
However, not all industry commentators share this optimistic outlook. For instance, analysts at Changelly argue it could take up to 15 years or until 2040 for XRP to reach $500. Interestingly, they also believe a $1,000 price could be possible by then.
On the other hand, Telegaon predicts that XRP will be worth a maximum of only $160 by 2040. Even by 2050, it would still only reach around $285, according to their estimates.
